Serpent Lake Targeted Watershed Video/Article

Conservation projects targeting Serpent Lake helped to reverse a downward trend in its water quality. That was the intent of the Clean Water Fund targeted watershed pilot program grant the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources awarded to the Crow Wing SWCD in 2014. Partners involved in a Deerwood project gathered in summer 2021 to discuss the grant’s far-reaching results. (The haze is from distant wildfires.)
