Serpent Lake Association

Serpent Lake Association

The Serpent Lake Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization in Minnesota. Its mission is to represent the common interests of its members and to provide educational support for the benefit of current and future inhabitants of the Serpent Lake community in Crow Wing County in Minnesota.

The primary objective of the Association is to encourage wise use and development of the Serpent Lake area and its watershed in order to maintain the delicate ecological balance which must exist between the lake and the surrounding area.

The Association (SLA) serves as a communication vehicle to educate and inform, monitor water quality and clarity, install and remove safety buoys, serve as a liaison between government agencies (village, city, county, township and state) and lakeshore residents in matters that pertain to our lake and community.

A volunteer Board of Directors is elected and serves to protect the lake and surrounding properties. SLA has no power to make laws, regulate or enforce; it is not a governmental body.

Annual membership dues are $35. We welcome new members, both lakeshore owners and residents, and those who simply are interest in the lake and its community and wish to support our mission. Dues payments may be mailed to the address below or via online SLA membership form.

Membership is open to all who live on the lake or who use or have interest in Serpent Lake. Our address is:
